Are your services covered by insurance?
We are in network with most major insurance companies such as Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Oxford, Oscar, Optum, Quest Behavioral Health, United Healthcare, and United Healthcare Medicare Advantage.
For out-of-network coverage, we provide receipts for you to submit for reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurer about out-of-network mental health coverage, deductible amounts, and annual session limits.
Some questions to ask your insurance provider:
- What out-of-network mental health services will my plan cover?
- What is my deductible? How much must I pay out of pocket before receiving reimbursement?
- How many sessions per year are allowed under my out-of-network coverage?
What are your fees?
We accept cash, HSA/FSA accounts, and major credit cards. Our out of network service fees are:
- Diagnostic Evaluation (CPT 90791): $150
- Individual Therapy 45 min (CPT 90834): $115
- Individual Therapy 55-60 min (CPT 90837): $130
- Family Therapy 55-60 min: $150
Do you have evening or weekend availability?
Evening appointments are quite popular and fill up quickly. Weekend assessments are arranged on a case-by-case basis. We recommend reaching out early to secure your preferred time slot.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment, or you will be charged a $75 late cancellation/no-show fee.
How long will therapy take?
The duration of therapy depends on your personal circumstances, commitment level, and individual goals. Some clients find relief in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We'll work together to determine what's right for you.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I do not prescribe medication. However, with your permission, I collaborate with prescribing physicians to ensure coordinated care.
Does what we talk about in therapy remain confidential?
Confidentiality is one of the most important aspects of psychological services. Your information cannot be released without your written consent, except in certain legal or ethical circumstances (such as imminent danger to yourself or others, or suspected abuse).
What if I don't want to talk about something?
You are always in control of what you discuss in therapy. We can focus on current concerns or future goals rather than past issues if that's more comfortable for you. Therapy works best when you feel safe and in control.
What if therapy isn't for me?
The initial evaluation spans 1-3 sessions to assess compatibility and determine if we're a good fit. If needed, I'll provide referrals to other providers who may better suit your needs. Finding the right therapist is important.
What is the Good Faith Estimate?
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a written estimate of costs before services begin. You may dispute any bill that exceeds the estimate by $400 or more. For more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
